Privacy Policy

Effective May 1, 2026. How we collect, use, and protect your information.

Heartland Restoration Company LLC(“Heartland Restoration,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at www.heartlandrestorationco.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have — including the rights granted to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

1. Who We Are

Heartland Restoration Company LLC is a licensed California contractor (CSLB License #1095366) providing water damage, fire damage, odor abatement, construction, remodeling, and renovation services across Ventura County, Southern Santa Barbara County, and North Los Angeles County.

Our business address is 1376 Walter St #3, Ventura, CA 93003. You can reach us at 805-219-6732 or glen@heartlandrestorationco.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you provide to us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit our website.

Information you provide

When you submit a form on our website (Get Help Now, Free Estimate quiz, Contact, or Request Callback), we collect:

  • First name and, on the contact form, last name
  • Phone number
  • ZIP code (where applicable)
  • Service type or urgency you select
  • Any free-text message you choose to include

We do not require an email address on most forms in order to reduce friction. If you contact us by email or phone outside of the website, we will receive whatever you choose to send.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically collect:

  • IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, operating system, and language
  • Pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps
  • Anonymous identifiers used for analytics (e.g., a Google Analytics client ID stored in a cookie)

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account information, precise geolocation, biometric data, or other sensitive personal information through this website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry, schedule a free inspection, and follow up about a project
  • Send you appointment confirmations and project updates
  • Provide the services you request and prepare estimates using industry-standard tools (e.g., Xactimate)
  • Improve our website, marketing, and customer experience by reviewing aggregated traffic patterns
  • Comply with legal obligations, including California contractor recordkeeping requirements
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, security incidents, and fraudulent activity

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Calls and Text Messages (TCPA)

When you submit a form requesting that we contact you, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Heartland Restoration about your inquiry, including by automated dialing systems and pre-recorded or artificial voice messages where permitted by law. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask to be removed from our call list by telling any team member.

5. Service Providers We Share Information With

We use a small number of trusted vendors to operate this website and follow up on leads. These providers are bound by contract to use your information only to provide services to us:

  • GoHighLevel (HighLevel, Inc.) — our customer-relationship and lead-management platform. Form submissions are sent to GoHighLevel so our team can return your call, schedule appointments, and send confirmations.
  • Vercel Inc. — our website hosting and serverless platform. Vercel processes basic request data (IP address, headers, timing) to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
  • Vercel Blob — image storage used for our before-and-after gallery. No personal information from forms is stored in Blob.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) — anonymized traffic measurement. Where enabled, Google Analytics uses cookies to understand which pages are popular and how the site is performing. IP addresses are anonymized where supported.
  • Telephone carriers — when you call us, your phone carrier and ours route the call and may log standard metadata.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. We use two narrow categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary. An HTTP-only session cookie is set on the staff-only owner portal to keep authorized users signed in. This cookie is not used for tracking and is not set on public marketing pages.
  • Analytics. Where Google Analytics is enabled, it sets a small set of cookies to count unique visitors and measure performance.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although doing so may affect site functionality. Most modern browsers also support a “Do Not Track” signal and the Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where required by California law, we treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

7. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the following rights:

  • Right to know. You can request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we have shared it with.
  • Right to delete. You can request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, completing a service you requested or complying with a legal obligation).
  • Right to correct. You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide a clear opt-out link.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information through this website.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at glen@heartlandrestorationco.com or call 805-219-6732. We will need to verify your identity (typically by confirming details from a recent inquiry) before responding, and we will respond within the time required by California law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as we need it to provide our services, follow up on your inquiry, comply with contractor recordkeeping and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. Lead data submitted through forms is typically retained for the duration of the project plus the period required by California contractor and tax law (generally up to four years after the project closes), after which it is archived or deleted.

9. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. The website runs over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted over encrypted server-to-server connections, and access to our lead-management system and owner portal is restricted to authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for adults, and our services are directed at property owners and managers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website links to social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, X, and our Google Business Profile) and may link to other third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services. Please review their privacy policies before submitting information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted prominently on the website. Your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
